all you do is win win win

no matter what you do! The tiger band proudly pumped up the student section with that fun song and we had it stuck in our heads all night!  It's true that this past weekend was triumphant in the food, the football, and the company. The Cooks came to visit and we kicked it off with a lovely evening at Dante's Kitchen. Our bellies thanked us after! Then, a back to back victory in Tiger Stadium and the Dome topped off the weekend. I also got to see my precious little sisters in Baton Rouge and visited with Darby and Matt on Sunday. It was a great starter to this thanksgiving week and got me thinking of one of my favorite reflections on gratitude. Hope your family celebrations are fun and filling.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”-Melody Beattie
